Thinking of trying a gin and lucozade tonight! Had toothache, on and off, since previous Wednesday night. Need root canal treatment when current treatment settles down. Last night the pain cam back. The worst thing is no sleep for around 10 days. I am so tired it isn’t true.

So anyway, gin and lucozade, both analgesic and energy restoring??!

The Bison Grass Mojito from Revolution is easily my favourite cocktail but it's been so long since I frequented the establishment I don't even know if they still do it. I used to spend silly money on a regular basis in my local Revolution when I lived with my parents but it's a bit out of my price range now.

Bottled it! Just can’t bring myself to dilute a £30 a bottle gin with Lucozade! (Now if it were Gordon’s filth....)

Long Island Iced Tea, but done Hong Kong style.
Went to a bar in Hong Kong and ordered one and they put no ice in the glass, filled it about two thirds with booze before just topping it off with cola.

I’ll go for a Negroni. Bit boring and predictable I know. Either that or the equally predictable Mojito. Mind you, I make a gooseberry fool hot Mojito.

Not boring at all. It's a nice, classy sipping drink.I bloody love a negroni. Drank a fair amount when living in Italy  . Negroni Sbagliato is good too. Out of the more famous classic cocktails, I like an Old Fashioned. Got a soft spot for a Margherita too. But luckily most good cocktail bars have their own creations which is fun.

Just about to make myself a maple, rosemary, bourbon sour 8-)

It's literally a Negroni but with prosecco instead of gin. Legend goes it was a mistake and the bartender poured prosecco instead of gin, hence "sbagliato" or mistake.

Tokyo iced tea is the best cocktail I've ever tasted but that was on the Sunday of Reading festival and after going into TGI Fridays to use the facilities and get some grub it really sorted me out after a few days camping.

My go to cocktail is Pina colada but it need to made fresh none of this pre-mix shite.

My most frequently ordered cocktail is a Woo Woo. I have exactly zero shame about this as it's strawberry floating nice.

One of my favourites is The Godfather. It's a shot of JD, a shot Disaronno and mixed with coke and ice. Seriously nice.

Not really into cocktails, but a 'Tom Collins' is quite nice.

Going to have to try an Old Fashioned. Seems to be a fave of quite a few. On the other hand, why spoil a good whisky with anything other than a single block of ice?!

I use buillet Rye. A good cocktail whiskey and relatively cheap at around €25.
