What the media will do for a story! Look at the Daily Mail. They had a whole section about 2012 and the end of the world

 True that. However, it was still better than the Moonraker plot. James Bond in space?

Film wise:

Goldeneye > Licence To Kill > Casino Royale > Living Daylights > The rest

Also I liked Brosnan the best, shame he got stuck with too many poor films.

Goldeneye is my favourite. Casino Royale is great also. I've seen every Bond film but most of them I saw years ago, so I don't really remember, but I do remember liking A View to a Kill and Diamonds Are Forever.

Best for me is Goldeneye. Came out when I was a kid and I used to watch that and play the n64 game a lot which probably gives me a greater fondness for it. I also love the man with the golden gun and live and let die. I like a lot o the Roger Moore ones.

Best Bond Film: Casino Royale
Honourables: Goldfinger, Goldeneye, From Russia with Love.

Worst Bond Film: Die Another Day

Best Bond Actor: Sean Connery for the moment. Daniel Craig was sensational as James Bond, but it's not enough to judge him after two films. I'd rather to wait until I've seen Skyfall this October then I can decide.

Best Bond Line: "The job's done, and the bitch is dead."
Honourables: "I'm sorry. That last hand... nearly killed me." "Shoot me? I'd rather stay at a morgue."

"The job is done, and the bitch is dead."

Goldeneye
Goldfinger
Casino Royale

In that order.

Goldeneye.

Though I still can't resist judging how far I am through the movie by seeing which level I'm up to.

I don't get the fuss about Russia with Love. To me it's one of the weakest in the entire series.

Also for best theme, how has Thunderball by Tom Jones not been mentioned?

I know he isn't the best, but for me, Roger More is James Bond. I grew up with those films, and I love them all (Moonraker excluded). I've since watched the Connery films, but I find them a little slow in comparison. My fave film is The Spy Who Loved Me. Best opening sequence ever.

Moore's Bond is just too camp for my liking. Connery's Bond is really dark, much like Brosnan (in Goldeneye at least).

And I don't mean camp as in gayboy camp, more just kinda....naff I guess. If that makes sense.

This. If Craig's Bond is everything Bond should be, then Moore's Bond is everything he shouldn't.

Edit: I think people are only voting for Goldeneye because of that niche Gamecube game that was released at the same time.

It's probably my third (Goldeneye, Casino Royale) fav. Like you said, savage, brutal and not too many gadgets.
