The fact I was 15/16 when I first signed up and I’m turning 33 in a week or so is so depressing.

I joined in Feb 2004 to chat about NGC Magazine's now legendary I'm the Best competition. I was subsequently bestowed with the moniker F-Zero Wonder Boy due to my time trialling prowess.

What is especially cool is that, at one point or another, I've ended up meeting almost all of the ITB/Skill Club crew and they've all been sound people.

Sadly there's very few of us left on here now.

Joined in 2005 after seeing an advert in NGC magazine, and looking for some E3 Hype. I remember getting really caught up in all the rumours flying around that year (MEGATON).

Back then there was always the usual 'we do not believe you are a female' general suspicion to get through then everything was just like this really.

I have an early memory of yourself saying you would like to peg a man one day. I have often wondered over the past decade or so if you have achieved this (but feel free to not divulge either way, obv).

Your earliest memory of GR is being quoted by me?

I joined to ask a question about Enter the Matrix in 2003.

I also checked out the PC Gamer forums but they all seemed to be dickheads so I didn't stick around.

Ha, christ, so young and horny back then. I don't remember this, but I feel like I'd already unlocked that achievement when I joined GR. But maybe not, I don't have a diary for that kind of thing. Either way, rest easy.

On a different note, an early-ish memory I've got is of going through the quite painful Perfect Dark Zero co-op campaign on Perfect Agent with you not long after you signed up. That was...tough.

To be fair, subjecting yourself to the Perfect Dark Zero Perfect Agent Campaign isn't really a different note to getting pegged.

But yes good memories of that terrible ordeal.

And of the Perfect Dark Zero multiplayer matches we were having regularly around the 360 launch. A flawed yet great game.

I'm pretty sure I was told to "strawberry float off Noob!" but I can't remember when this was as it feel like I've always been on here.
I was here when I started working at Woolies over 15 years ago.

God knows. I remember making a crap joke about Cables(!) when that was a thing (relating to wii supply issues and everyone going mad trying to get components).

It went down like a fart at a funeral and I never tried to be relevant again.

True story - I found an old picture from when I last moved house, one of the boxes In the background had “CABLES” written on it in big letters. Obviously for my own amusement. This was about a year after it had failed to amuse anyone on GR.

I joined in 2002 after seeing an advert in N64 Magazine and I vaguely remember someone saying I couldn't be taken seriously because my post count was so low – this was long, long before it became a meme .

Don't really remember much about posting on GR other than when several people left to set up various spinoff forums
(WakingLimb, GaMuFi and Poopgang) and getting invited to join a couple of them (one of which was worrying flirty as for some unfathomable reason they assumed I was a girl) . Also the guy who set up WakingLimb (Reaper1982) IP banning the then 12 year old Karl for being an "annoying little gooseberry fool".

2002, just prior to the launch of Metal Gear Solid 2. The Daily Radar logo had started appearing in Future's magazines months earlier but I hadn't checked out the forum side of things until probably late 2001. This was when the board was segmented by platform (PS2, Xbox, Gamecube etc.)

I was banned briefly by Future for posting nude photos of Lorraine Kelly. I was allowed back on a TECHNICALITY (I had censored her nipples, therefore overcoming tyranny).

Wakinglimb was great, but that was quite a shitty thing to do. It was still in existence until quite recently, Elbo used to check in every few months.

I don't think there is anyone left other than me and IH who used to post on there regularly(Maybe Xeno?), though I still have a few of the guys on my FB. Halo 2 with the WL guys was a great laugh.
