If memory serves, that was invincible.

He used to get really wound up in console sales threads.

He was a bloody weirdo. Cheated in one of DML’s GGGC games, as did the legend that was Simtaz. His brother was on here too, Big Frank or whatever the name was.

What is especially cool is that, at one point or another, I've ended up meeting almost all of the ITB/Skill Club crew and they've all been sound people.

Sadly there's very few of us left on here now.

You know it was ten years last month since we met for a pint in London.

For real?

strawberry float, doesn't seem that long ago. Who else was there? Noes, Gianni, Bunni... sure there was one more.

Funnily enough I was reminiscing the other day about how it has been something like almost 10 or 11 years since the first Glasgow meet up, in which we drunkenly phoned both Denster and Bunni after another forumite bought a round of shots for the table. I don’t even know who had their numbers. That was...it didn’t end well.

I think Anung had mine.

Was that the night we got the bus back to mine and after an hour we all needed to pee real bad and you shat up my toilet real good before anyone else could get in? Then snored like a bear ALL NIGHT?

It was. I stood no chance of sleeping that night.

Was that also the same night where that "classy" bird pissed on the floor of the night bus?

That does sound familiar. I remember waking and asking Drummy if my snoring had kept him awake. He looked at me with contempt and played a recording of my snores.

Didn't your housemates get up at 6am and have no idea who we were?

We watched the World Cup. The Brazil Holland game in Camden market and then the Uruguay game where Suarez handled the ball.

Quality weekend.

Funnily enough, I spent the weekend of the final of that World Cup at T in the Park. Someone shat on my tent. I noped right out of the camp site and back to Glasgow. Had an epic shower, cracked open a beer and watched the final.

I can't honestly remember how I arrived here, or what my first interaction was. I'll have to go look.

Edit - I'd been lurking for a bit, I don't know how I found this place. Buff and Mori said hello to me in the Newbs thread.

I went to T in the Park once. There were a group of girls near our tent who played Beyonce's "Crazy in Love" on repeat for the entire weekend. They must have bought enough batteries to power a small town to keep their stereo going as they didn't stop playing it at any time during the day or night. :x

I tell you what, considering that the 2010 World Cup was generally disappointing, we struck absolute gold that day with what were probably the two best matches of the competition. Just incredible.

I didn't really get how messageboards worked back in 2001 and so when someone completely random quoted a post I made about some computer game, I asked them how their day at school was.

First joined in the Gamesradar days; think I saw an ad in NGC or whatever it was back then. Remember posting lots about Japanese DS titles at the start I believe. Been on hiatus a few times but I always be lurking! :shifty:

Wasn't even the floor. Just pulled her skirt to the side and pissed on the seat. Someone spewed up kebab at the top of the stairs which we had to navigate too. That same lassie got off in Lewisham and invited us to a warehouse rave full of Ket. Not sure why we stayed on the bus really.

Yeah same - was very into Osu Tatakae Ouendan back then, and Phoenix Wright (before you could get it here - for some reason the Japanese version had an English translation).

Yeah, playasia got good business from me back then! Used to get US versions too as the boxes were a lot better / slimmer than the UK ones. Osu, Phoenix, Electroplankton, Taiko (with 2 wee drum stylus), Slitherlink to name but a few... being region free was great!

Oh I ordered so much stuff off playasia! I had this really strawberry floating cool extendable metal stylus to replace the tacky plastic one it came with.

I imported one of those white Gamecube pads Nintendo released for Smash Bros Brawl from there. Decent price too.
