Didn't mention but there are a few games in the PS+ package that I'll either play for the first time (Persona 5, FFXV, Days Gone) and a few that I'll be replaying (God of War, RE7).

I can't wait!

Even though I won't be jumping into next gen for a while... man, the hype is building and it's hard not to get into it. The new PS5 and Xbox systems both look terrific and the "new console" launch buzz is always exciting. This coming gen is extra neat due to the backwards compatibility - if I did have a system then I think I'd be just as keen to test out existing games as new ones!

Quite tempted by Sackboy, but want to see some reviews before taking the plunge. Might do NG+ on GoW and Days Gone.

Doom Eternal as my main game with Gears Tactics as my side game.

Forza Horizon 4 & Tetris for short sessions with Quick Resume.

Will wait for the next gen patch for Destiny 2 Shadowkeep & Beyond Light.

If I do get a PS5, I'd get Demon Souls and Spider-Man Miles Morales.
And just get the PS4 versions of multiplat titles.

Getting both PS5 and XBSX so got a mix.

Probably gonna pick up something for XB launch day. Either Assassins Creed or COD I think.

Will depend entirely on whether I'll be able to snag a PS5 at or around launch. If so, I'll go for Spider-Man and possibly Demon Souls (wasn't really on my radar but the recently-released vids look incredible). These two are the games I'm most excited to play.

If I don't manage to get one, I'll largely be playing my library on the Series X, enjoying updates to Gears 5 and Forza 4 (both of which I've hardly started), I'll give Gears Tactics a spin and, if it reviews well, the Falconeer. It'll be a strange launch as, although I'm really excited to own a Series X - and would choose it over the PS5 if I could only have one (which is looking likely to be the case) - there aren't many games for it that are 'new' that I'm stoked to play. Cyberpunk getting pushed back makes this feel doubly so.

I'd probably go for Valhalla but, as I'm still slogging through AC: Odyssey, I'm pretty much burnt out on the Ubisoft approach to open worlds and will need a long time before I go back to one of these types of games.
