So with less than a month until both the Series X and the PS5 launch thought it would be interesting to see which games you'll be jumping into the Next-Gen with?

For me

Series X

Assassin's Creed Valhalla
Borderlands 3
Xbox Game Pass - Master Chief Collection and Halo 5, Forza Horizon 4

PS5
Spider-Man Miles Morales Ultimate Edition.

That’s it so far. :slol:

Although I’ve grabbed Fallout 4, Witcher 3 (will wait for the PS5 update before playing it) and there’s Persona 5 which will be a part of the PS Plus Collection.

And hopefully Vampyr’s loading times will be severely reduced on the PS5 so I can finish it.

Series X

Borderlands 3, cause I got it for 5quid a month back and haven't touched it and a free update to Next gen version when I slam the disc in sounds great
Xbox Game Pass whatever I can find on here to amuse me
and I am considering Ultimate Mortal Kombat 11

I'm getting both Series X and PS5.
I'm buying Dirt 5 for the PS5 and Cyberpunk for the Series X.

I'm hoping to rent Watchdogs on Series X and either Spiderman on PS5 or Assassins Creed on Series X from Boomerang.
I also have Gamepass Ultimate and PSNow so it should be a decent launch.

PS5
Spider-Man Miles Morales Ultimate Edition
Demon's Souls

I think my wife might be getting AC: Valhalla for herself. I'll be waiting until the proper PS5 version of Cyberpunk comes out before I get that.

Well I’m not in line to get one on launch day but here goes anyway,

Xbox Series X

WRC 9
Cyberpunk 2077
Few months of Game Pass too, plus a few games I’ve picked up to catch up on.

While I'll have been enjoying Watch Dogs Legion on the One X, I'll be swapping it over to the Series S as soon as it arrives, with DiRT 5 being the first truly new game on the system (I'm waiting the few days before getting it). Along with messing around with some of the backwards compatible games, the major one of which being Red Dead Redemption 2, which I've been saving for the new console. Don't think there's anything else around the period that I'd be interested in getting, and there probably won't be anything truly new until LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga eventually hits.

Probably nothing, if I get an XBox on launch I'll just use the GamePass and games I've already got for a wee while. Maybe grab Cyberpunk if I can get round the horrendous crunch stories that are coming out, or Everwild if it actually comes out.

PS5

Astro's Playroom
Call of Duty Cold War
Sackboy A Big Adventure
DiRT 5
_____________________
Spider Man Miles Morales
Watch Dogs Legion
Spider Man
WRC 9
The Pathless
Destruction All Stars
Assassin's Creed Valhalla

PlayStation Plus Collection

Uncharted 4
Battlefield 1
Detroit Become Human
The Last Guardian
Batman Arkham Knight
Mortal Kombat X
God of War

In that order. Delete as applicable if some of the later games I'm planning to pick up (like Allstars) turn out to be properly pantaloons. I'm waiting for the big update before bothering with Cyberpunk 2077.

My thinking behind starting with COD and Sackboy is that they can be polished off pretty quickly and then sold to fund the next batch of games, whereas racing and open worlders are going to take ages.

Series X

Cyberpunk 2077
Game Pass

Might pick up Ass Creed down the line when it gets it's inevitable price cut.

PS5
Spider-Man Miles Morales - Ultimate Edition
Demon's Souls

Those, plus replaying some of my PS4 collection in 4K should keep me entertained into the new year.

On the XSX:

Valhalla is the only new game I'm buying at launch.
Gears Tactics
Probably fire up Halo MCC & Halo 5 (never got beyond half way into 4)
Destiny 2 - recently bought but holding off playing on the XB1
Will also play some Game Pass stuff and EA Play stuff (we get EAP on XSX launch dont we?)

I'm spoilt for choice thanks to the fantastic value gamepass offers, almost too much to play :D

None, because neither PS5 and Xbox have any decent launch games.

One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

Only getting a PS5 and i've got this lot pre-ordered:
Far Cry 6
Assassin's Creed: Valhalla
Call of Duty
SpiderMan: Miles Morales
Watch Dogs: Legion
Cyberpunk 2077

Only really excited to play a couple of them (CP2077 & AC:V) but after having vouchers for the others i've ended up ordering those too. I'll probably start with CoD just to get it completed and resold ASAP while it's still got good value.
