It’s just that Yakuza isn’t out until next March on PS5.

Another question re the Live to Game Pass Ultimate upgrade, is it £1 as a one off? Or £1 per month? I’m assuming the latter as £1 for the duration would be borderline insane value

I'm buying the PS4 version a week earlier, and wont touch it until I get the PS5- sorry, I should have been more clear :D

I adore Yakuza, and im not waiting for March...! I have all the Yakuza's on PS4 already and i'd buy it to complete the set regardless of whether the PS5 version was out or not.

I'll live with 30fps in the short term to play it, its a turn based RPG ultimately so no great shakes- and likely play it again with the free upgrade in March with the extra bells and whistles.

Ah, right. It’s funny how we’re mostly going to be playing games that we could have played on our existing consoles (I’m the same).

Nope, it’s the borderline insane option. £1 to sign up, then your Live gets converted. Nothing else to pay until those months run out.

Demons Souls and DMCVSE is worth the price of entry alone for me- but getting the best versions of the others is a fine excuse too :D

:toot: :toot: :toot:

That is bonkers  Still I’ll probably sign up for a couple of months and then go from there, having a very brief look I’ve seen CD Keys have a 12 month live subscription for just under £40 which doesn’t seem bad!

Yeah. And as you say, the PS5 release of Yakuza 7 is out in March on PS5, but PS4 version is playable, also as you say on PS5. I'm not sure what upgrades he's talking about there. Im sure I read its 30fps to 60, and resolution increase? Im honestly not sure, Im playing it asap regardless :slol:

4K 30 or 1440 60... it’s fighting is turn based so the 60mode seems pointless. No graphical upgrade outside of resolution.

Spider-Man Miles Morales and Demon's Souls. Oh and, that Astro Bot game :P

Series S purchase has been delayed due to unexpected OLED related splurging. Had I gone ahead with it, I would have likely just stuck with GamePass games for launch and beyond.

Hardly say its pointless. double the framerate in a game where you dont just fight, but run around the city/race/loads of other activities sounds good to me.

I'm not personally bothered by it being 30fps on PS4 (Yakuza old engine on PS4 was 60fps, but with dragon engine is 30fps- im used to either) But doubling the frame rate even with a resolution downgrade is a good thing for many- be interesting to see if they offer the option on the PS5 version as many are. Especially when its a free copy of the PS5 version if you own the PS4 one. Even though ill buy physical PS5 too :shifty: :slol:

Bloody hell, you really are a fan! I still have yet to start the series, but I know that good stuff awaits.
