Your Top 3 Bond Themes (Now with Poll!)

As we've been discussing the somewhat muted reception to the somewhat muted theme tune to the latest Bond film No Time To Die I thought it would be good to find out what bond themes people actually like!

For me there haven't really been that many great ones in the modern era, Brosnan had a solid theme for Goldeneye but that was about it and Casino Royale had a decent effort for Craig as well but it's been pretty gooseberry fool otherwise.

Top 3 for me would be:

1. Goldfinger - The quintessential classic :datass:

2. Live and Let Die - The best thing Macca did post-Beatles
3. You Only Live Twice - The film was a bit gooseberry fool but this was a great theme

Live and Let Die is an amazing theme tune that I'm sick to death of hearing. It's so overused on the radio/playlists/TV/etc.

Very controversial option: The Guns n Roses version of Live and Let Die is better than the McCartney version.

The only one I really like is View to a Kill. I don't even think I've seen the film, I just like Duran Duran.

I do like Nobody Does it Better, but it doesn't work in context because Moore is not the best Bond so someone does do it better! :lol:

You Know My Name is easily the best Bond theme from the past few years, but I kinda prefer the POTF version to the Cornell original

Had a bit of a think as well and like the only other Bond theme I can remember that I like is the World is Not Enough by Garbage:

The Garbage song is underrated but it’s not top tier.

Skyfall (best film and theme tune)
The World is Not Enough (decent tune, shite movie)
Tomorrow Never Dies (another decent brosnan era song, but also another bad brosnan movie)

Tomorrow Never Dies isn't great but it's decent enough. The World is Not Enough and Die Another Day are Brosnan's two real clunkers!
