A £20 Woolworths Voucher a year after they closed from my step brother. He said it was a collectors item and would be worth more in years to come.

My dad drunkenly told me at my mum's funeral that they thought I was going to be a girl, so decorated the nursery room for a girl, bought girls baby clothes and stuff, so when I was born they hadn't even thought of a name and were strawberry floating gutted to have me. You should see the photos of mum holding me as a new born, it's basically this :|

Don't worry, they got what they wanted soon after!

Its probably for the best your sister was born, imagine what their disappointment could have resulted in.

forcing you to wear girls clothes all day and changing your name to susan was just the beginning...

Do you actually live in a comedy series? If so, when's it being aired and what channel?

One of my brothers friends once bought him a drinking game and some fancy vodka. My brother who doesn't drink anymore because of alcohol abuse.

Please do not post this in the "No Context" thread

It is true, my town does indeed have a 70's precinct containing a Poundland, Superdrug, and TheWorks.

My dad got my mum four new tyres for her car for their 30th wedding anniversary. He sold the car without telling her a month later.

idk if this counts but whatever

For my 17th birthday my asian parents decided I would recieve nothing because my academic performance was poor or some gooseberry fool(and boy was it ever), so I bought myself a video game from amazon with some money I had from work over the holidays. I went home to find the box ripped open because them going through my mail was normal back then (the monthly bank statements in uni were worse lmao) and then they berated me for ten minutes or something for... buying a video game I guess?

the game itself was almost as disappointing as my grades at the end of that year

Professional Cricket Bowling Machine

I had and still have no idea why my Father thought I would want it, it was the most bizarre gift I have ever received
