http://www.dualshockers.com/zone-of-the ... tation-vr/The cult classic Zone of the Enders series is one beloved by fans, and while the series has laid dormant for quite some time, those looking to experience the series for the first time will get to do so in a whole new way with the upcoming new VR project, Zone of the Enders: Anubis Mars.
During Sony’s press conference at Tokyo Game Show 2017, Sony revealed the upcoming title Zone of the Enders: Anubis Mars, which will bring the Zone of the Enders universe into virtual reality as a PlayStation VR title in spring of next year.
The title will remaster the original Zone of the Enders title in VR alongside other enhancements, including support for 4K resolution on PS4 Pro, new sound design, and “next-gen surround sound.”
Zone of the Enders: Anubis Mars will release for PS4 and PlayStation VR in Spring 2018 – in the meantime, you can check out the game’s first trailer below:

This was one of the few PS2 games I completed. I will definitely double-dip to play it in VR.

This is Zone of the Enders 2, right? Seems a weird choice to remaster over the first one. This TGS conference does have me considering a PSVR for the first time though.
Edit: I suppose it's not really that weird since the second game is much better, but it's not often they remaster a sequel without the original game.

First game was okay but really short. Second one was incredible I’d totally buy a 60fps remaster.

It amazes me the HD port was such a mess when it was a PS2 game. The 360 version never even got patched I think, so is stuck at 720p. The PS3 version at least got a 1080 patch but the frame rate was still all over the place.

Yeah it put me off buying it after seeing how bad the port was. I remember they just cancelled the Vita version, probably because the performance was shite.

It was the same team who did the Silent Hill HD port so we're lucky it worked at all.

I was working for ePlay when ZoE 1 first launched. Don't recall a single customer actually buying it for the game as opposed to the MGS demo that came with it.
Never played ZoE 2, so might take a look.
