Hades - Escaping Hell - first video game to win a Hugo Award!

Need to get back into this, but I'm not sure I will. It's good but not enough to keep me away from other stuff sadly. Definitely sits closely with Dead Cells in my estimation: a fantastic mechanical creation but lacking the power to make me want to invest in it beyond a certain point

Just crossed 130 hours. Trying to tick off all the duo and legendary boons

That's pretty much where I stopped with just some cosmetic house gemstone upgrades left and missing some duo boons (you'll probably have to look them up on the wiki - some of the unlock conditions to even get them offered are quite strict and might not be what you'd usually choose in a run).

The Codex tells you the requirements. I managed to snag multiple legendary boons on a run yesterday.

Ah didn't realise it did that for the Duo boons

Hoping this goes on sale on Switch this week, really want to try it out and want to play this first before I restart Dead Cells

I got the disc version of this and I've been playing it in short sessions. I got to Meg once. Nearly killed her, but she got me.

It's not bad. It hasn't fully clicked with me yet.

Finally bought this on Switch, just went on sale, £15.74 (You get 79p back in gold coins effectively making it less than £15)

I beat Meg yesterday and made it to the hydra.

Game is clicking with me. I like it a lot. The annoying characters though, I just want them to strawberry float off most of the time.

The only character I can think I dislike is one who is deliberately unlikable so that's in a good way, and is after that point anyway!

as much as I do love this game, I really wish it would get some dlc of some kind. like one or two alternate path biomes to go through, or more gods like Hera.

Alternate biomes and bosses would be my biggest want for an expansion, maybe to make it fit in they could do them as variants on the existing ones (so as not to affect the character story progression)?

Additional olympian gods would work, as would just new enemy types, rooms and subbosses in general.
