My take on Kojima is that I wouldn't want most games to be like his, but I'm glad there's one person making them.

I need to find some time to give Death Stranding another shot really, I played a few hours of it about a year ago but couldn't really feel it.

Hoping this hews a bit closer to the good side of Kojima's output

It looks closer to MGS at least (but I'd consider Death Stranding on the top end of Kojima's output!)

To be clear I remain undecided on where DS lands on the Kojima scale (Koji-mometer perhaps? :lol: )

I need to give it more time before coming to a real verdict. I was more thinking in terms of the fluctuating qualities and excesses of the MGS series itself. 3 remains the pinnacle, but totally and atmospherically 1 still feels the most unique to me and that is something I'd love him to revisit
