Not working this weekend so after a seven day stretch I'm going to enjoy myself.
Friday - A few beers with some lads from work
Saturday - Bit of housework, then chilling.
Sunday - Wife & kids are off to the caravan for half term, but I couldn't get the time off work. Instead I'm meeting my dad for a shopping trip as my mum has "insisted" that I update my wardrobe as an early Christmas present. You know what mum's can be like, but she has a point as I'm not much of a clothes buyer and could use a couple new pairs of jeans and some nice shirts, so bless her. Also means I can have a pint with my dad who said he'd catch the bus rather than drive.
Friday - Flight back from Boston to NYC Saturday - Nothing much, moved in to a new apartment recently so got some more stuff to get for that Sunday - Dolphins vs Lions, F1, interviewing someone at 8am on Monday (who is in India hence the early start) so some prep for that
I generally dislike Chinese takeaway type stuff although I can't say I've particularly had much of it over the years, I'll eat stuff like spring rolls and hoisin noodles but much prefer Indian (technically Pakistani and Bangladeshi) food, can't beat a good curry with an onion Bhaji and mango chutney.
Friday - Derren Brown's Sacrifice, Good Place on Netflix. Saturday - U2 at Manchester Arena Sunday - Get home for Sunday Lunch and start Iron Fist S2; before Daredevil S3 - wish I'd taken Monday off now.
All I did last night was rest... Today I'm off to the fiancée's proberbly watch lots of TV and cuddle then I'll make a big dinner.
Tommorow I'm at work in the morning but free in the afternoon, if my daughter is free then I will probably watch a film and then DR Who with her..... If not probably just play Forza 7 and watch DR Who latter with her on catch up.
Friday: looked after sick baby, watched Kingsman 2 with the wife
Saturday: LIE IN COS THE BABY'S SICK! He seems better so going to go into town for a baby singing thing at the museum, then his auntie and uncle are coming to visit so we'll hang out with them.
Sunday: hang out with visiting family, then after they leave I'm going to make a vegan stew I've had the idea for bubbling in my head for a couple of days, so perhaps we'll have a nice dinner and perhaps we'll have a horrible one!
My family had two nice Chinese takeaways near us and the Indian was a death trap so Chinese growing up, but now I'm all about a Jalfrezi or Madras
