Yeah, the Sainsbury's system is gooseberry fool, they bill you for the replacement item, and offer a voucher for the difference to put towards your next shop.

3-5 days for a refund. Thinking about it, that may have been a big deal for someone. Could have sent a person overdrawn for example.

Ah, yeah that's a bit crap.

Also I've got a similar situation in your last point - bought a new laptop from Dell, and there's the transaction and second pending transaction on my credit card. Hopefully it'll disappear in a day or so, but I'm lucky I had enough head room that is not caused me an issue. And their customer service is a strawberry floating shambles. As are UPS, the courier they use. What kind of courier doesn't deliver on weekends? Jesus Christ.

The chin switch I use as the left mouse button keeps double clicking, its making typing with tthe onscreen keyboard extremely difficult. It's taken me five minutes to type this FFS.

But they'll keep giving them, even though you've said time and again it doesn't matter to them or reasons why you're doing things different. As with most things, it's always about their perception of how things should be without understanding any other point of view.

Don't let them get you down. You have your reasons. They should butt out.

The weird thing is, for the rest of the year they're really supportive with my mental health, Christmas just seems to bring out the worst in them (ironic).

This year I'm feeling relatively OK about the season, I've not got the usual feeling of dread about it. I'll play it by ear, at least I know that those closest to me will be supportive however my I'm feeling closer to the time.

That sucks, I'd like to think that if I was ever in that position I'd do my best to remember and make it right if I forgot. I hope things get better for you

Thanks, I've had another chat with my family, work, and classmates so we'll see I guess.

It's not like it super upsets me or anything, it's just annoying because I don't want to be that person who is trying to correct people all the time when everyone is just trying to have fun.

Tomorrow, for the 3rd time in owning this phone, I'm having to fork out £100 to get my screen fixed, because my phone jumped from my pocket onto the floor when I was tying my shoe. My screen is a mess of cracks now. Best bit is, I'd dropped it by accident earlier in the day from a greater height, as it had slipped out of my hand whilst getting my bus pass up on screen, and there wasn't a scratch!

Do you have a protective phone case?

Yeah I do, that's the worst bit  the last 2 times have been when it's been in its case. The first time my phone fell off the sofa onto the carpet.

Just so I know, what are your preferred pronouns and I'll be sure if we ever talk to use them. ^^

I'm not gonna get upset if someone uses something elsez bit I've realised of you give people the option to call you normal pronouns they'll just always use those.

I wonder if we can have a field added to our profiles where we can put our preferred pronouns, and have it show next to our posts.

People who don't shut doors to shops/cafe's when it's cold and windy outside. Sat trying to enjoy a hot chocolate and every 2 minutes some banana split opens the door to come in and then just leaves it wide open, or worse opens it and then just stands in the doorway. Come in and shut the door FFS! :x
