I'm guessing because they're both eternals and can therefore be moulded to be any shape/colour/lifeform?

Thanks!

Also, Jen I'm struggling to see what you found so offensive about him! He was fine!

Get strawberry floated, he was awful! Like a charisma black hole!

It doesn't help that I just can't stand the guy in the first place!

And I'm massively against pretty much any form of non-actor casting in movies, it's almost universally a bad idea that destroys integrity and immersion of the work for me. If he's going to show up regularly then for me it'll never be 'Hey Eros is back', but 'Oh look Harry Styles is here, sucking up all the fun and energy with his gormless face'

I didn't know who the actor was but he doesn't come across with any of the charisma the character should.

Ah, now it makes sense ;)

He's absolutely fine in Dunkirk, doesn't stand out at all.

Ah! Fair point. I'm just assuming it's line with the comics which might not be the case.

I think that might be the main issue here. ;)

I mean, of course, but it doesn't excuse the fact the guy can't act and has no on screen presence!

He had relatively little to do in Dunkirk overall and was in scenes where the mood and drama were established by other actors and elements of the production, the best you can say is he didn't completely strawberry float up what everyone else had done. But here he has to carry a scene on his own and absolutely cannot manage it.

There are dozens of better people they could have picked for the role who are actually, y'know actors.

He’s a beloved classically trained thespian. Jenuall thinks someone with so much training should be anywhere near the MCU.

Gaspard Ulliel, who plays Midnight Man in Moon Knight, has been killed in a skiing accident. He was also the lead in the film Hannibal Rising.
