At least the night times aren't as hot as last time around though, here it didn't get below 21C on the night of July 18th/19th.

Having a lovely cool drink in a sunny garden after work, bliss.

Seems to keep getting hotter the closer we get to the peak of this heatwave. On Sunday it was showing 34c on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Yesterday showed Friday at 35c and Saturday at 36c.

Saturday is now showing 37c. :dread:

And whilst Sunday was meant to drop a decent amount it's now showing 35c. And the much needed thunderstorms for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are now limited to just Tuesday. I've never seen such yellow dried out grass in the London parks before, wouldn't be surprised if we had a few more wildfires this weekend.

The fan and ice are doing their job quite well now, gonna fill an ice cream tub with water too and freeze that for some extra chill.

The weather looks awful, slowly creeping towards late 30s on multiple days tomorrow onwards.

I've flown all the way to the Costa del Sol for the same weather. May as well have stayed at home!

Found myself in an unexpected depressive slump this week. This weather isn't helping

I went into central London by train today and the heat is just so bad. Back home now and I'm sweating like crazy. Apparently it's gonna hit 35c here at the weekend :-(. We've not really had any respite for months!

I keep watching waterpark tour videos and just wishing I was at them. A day in cool water with some great slides and lovely food. I'd love it. Though the kinds of places they're based see the kind of heat we're seeing (or worse) all through the summer.

Living in a tiny flat this heat is unbearable when it gets anywhere close to 26-27. It's a warm 30 at the moment, a bit more wind, but it feels like the building has only just got back to a cooler level after the heatwave, only to return.

I know the impending energy prices are coming, but this week I've been wishfully looking forward to being cold again :shifty:

You think "most people" go on three or more foreign holidays a year?

Driving home from work last night, and my car reckoned it was 35 degrees.

All I know is I damn near got 3rd degree burns when I got into the car.
