Rishi will need to draft Laura K in to contest a seat soon.

I could only dream that he was anywhere near leftwing. But I guess that makes me deplorable. Time to get purged from the thread for my leftie views!

Please do not post this in the "No Context" thread

Obviously it remains to be seen if Starmer sets off on military invasions, but he doesn't strike me as being as dangerous as Blair.

And he certainly isn't as left wing as Brown.

But it's a great headline for Starmer. A boring centrist gets reimagined as an exciting lefty. Cheers Boris.

PDF with lots of info about their plan here: https://labour.org.uk/wp-content/upload ... RK-PAY.pdf

Edit: good move to name documents like this 'Labour's Plan' considering the Tory's main attack line of 'Labour has no plan' :P

If you're old enough to work and be taxed then you're old enough to vote, in my opinion.

He really is just a shameless opportunist, I very much doubt he actually believes that. The Daily Mail having something of an identity crisis today with the rest of the front page devoted to comparing Rachel Reeves to Margaret Thatcher.

I'm very late to the party but what a muppet Sunak looked mid week making that announcement in the rain. I'm convinced it was on purpose and he's trying to jump on the back of Boris' "idiot" person that he crafted - he's made a few gaffs this week and I'm more and more convinced it's on purpose to make him a personality. He's not that stupid.

And if he's not that stupid and is trying to make himself look like that on purpose then that'd be pretty stupid.

It wouldn't shock me if his team were intentionally sabotaging him and he's too stupid to realise.

Seems quite possible. I mean, who in their right mind, schedules the first campaigning event in the Titanic quarter after the launch they had?

I'm becoming more convinced that they're trying to lose on purpose, so they aren't holding the bomb when the new EU border checks kick in and cost of living shoots up again.
