Ironic.
Genuine lol
Cheeky Devlin wrote:Smith was excellent. Really loved him by the end. He had a really fantastic way of going from his slightly wacky persona to his more serious moments where he genuinely feels like an ancient being. He really manages to capture that world weary oldness at time. Like he looks young, but you can tell he's been around for a very long time. Wonderful actor.
Think you're gonna enjoy getting to see Troughton.... one day. Smith at points (like when his time line is unravelling in the Pandorica) is the most Doctor that the Doctor has ever been.

I was pretty gutted when the Ponds left but I think they had basically ran their course by that point. I'm not really sure what else you could do with them and having them leave at the end of 7 would mean a lot of change around the 50th. Did you know at one point only JLC was actually under contract for the special?

Yeah the end really sucks. When I did my scores recently it made sure I knocked it down a point. Sherwood got a bad rap originally (I think Into the Dalek did too) some of which was to do with people thinking Capaldi couldnt do comedy, which is absolute bollocks. Its a nice light hearted story and I quite like the Doctor finding out a fictional character was actually real.
