I'll be damned.

I stopped bothering to summon after the shadows as everyone who joined was strawberry floating useless to the point of being a pure waste of insight.

Saying that I did get someone good on the one reborn fight who knew how the fight went, but looking back at the video of the fight I don't think they actually dos any damage.

I don't think I ever managed to actually summon more than one person at once.

New screens? Like Demon's character art or Dark's lore dumps? I'd check but no access to psn.

I can get behind that. Decided to try using my phone as a hotspot.

Slow as hell, but it's downloading.

Here's the load time improvements, via Digital Foundry

The result? As promised, almost every area selected via the Hunter's Dream hub now loads 5-15 seconds faster. It's a success across the game's early spots especially, but there are also areas where From Software over-delivers.

The real game-changer is Bloodborne's improved respawn loading times. Previously players were forced to wait up to 53 seconds to revive in complex areas like Central Yharnam. But with the patch now installed, a whopping 26 seconds is cut off that loading screen after dying. This means respawns at the Central Yharnam lamp now take just 18 seconds on a stock PS4 HDD.

Better than that, respawns in Old Yharnam are now 32 seconds faster, with our test taking only 21 seconds total after dying just crossing the initial bridge. It's an upgrade that puts the stock PS4 HDD close to the results on a Hybrid SSD without the patch - and also narrows the gap when patch 1.03 is installed on that drive.

Do bosses behave differently in NG+ or do they just hit harder?

I played a mega (for me) session of this last night. Ended up finding some new areas (which I quickly left) and opened up a couple of gates near Cathedral Ward.

I was about to go through a big set of doors but the notes saying "time for co-op" etc. put me off.

Instead, I went back down the stairs, found a wee hidden ladder which took me to another ladder heading a long way down.

Jumped off that only to be faced with literally ten million villager dudes.

Got backed into a corner.

Couldn't escape.

Goodbye 12 thousand echoes.

Am I as well giving up on them and seeing what lies behind Door Number 3?

I got totally trounced by the mob as they started attacking me before I was even off the ladder. Trying to weigh up which is the best route to take just now.

Finally got myself acclimatised to Unseen Village and found that
One Reborne
boss, who I killed first go.
Then I repaired my weapon and went after the
Darkbeast Paarl
and done him first time too. When I think about how he destroyed me the first time I stumbled upon him after being
sent to gaol
I love how much the game has evolved me.
I have the key to UPW so I'll check out that next.
Only gooseberry fool thing about the last two hours is that I accidentally killed the Lecture Hall NPC 'coz it was dark and he
is a strawberry floating spider
!
Arse.
Oh well. Onwards!

First of all ignore the co-op message.

Kinda difficult to say what you should do as I am unsure where you are exactly. The doors you didn't go through, were they at the top of a lot of steps guarded by a handful of big, pale dudes along the way? Did the doors belong to huge cathedral type building? If yes, then go through those doors.

Damn - £50 is way too much for this, but i am seeing £30 odd deals on ebay. Whats the deal with all of these people selling 'primary account' digital versions of this game for £20 on ebay?

Sounds like they are sharing their digital version that they've bought?

Quite liking this arcane build. It's pretty weak right now as my stats are spread between End, Skill and Arc rather than just End and Skill but fire kicks so much ass with Arc scaling.

Flamesprayer is more than a waste of space now.

No tools yet, but I'll run to Hemwick and start getting runes to keep the bullets up.
