Hm, so either the cannibal missed the deadline, or is just letting us take ourselves out at no risk to himself. Like I said, he just needs to lay low and avoid detection for long enough to win.

Or maybe the sleep ritual from earlier did something.

If the players fail to identify and kill all the cannibals before the game is over, they will be given one last chance to put things right and identify the remaining cannibals. Mess this finale up, and the game is lost, and the cannibals will win.

They might just be waiting for this to happen and hoping we muck it up, although I can't see why they wouldn't try and whittle us down at the same time. More likely they're just forgetful.

Maybe I was right last night when we had no kill and its because the remaining Cannibal hasn't been around to send his kills over... Someone else can go through the player list to see who hasn't been online this time,.

Did all three people do the sleep ritual though? From reading in the thread it seemed like it was just two people who did it.

Errkal said it was majority vote, so only two of them needed to agree.

The more of us there are and the more confused we are the harder it will be to find them.

We don't know how the finale works, though. I'd assume it would give us an advantage for having more people alive at the end as a reward for making good choices, or on the flipside disadvantage the cannibals for having less of them survive to the endgame.

Alternatively the final chance might just be an extra lynch vote. If that were the case it makes sense for the cannibal not to kill anyone during their phase so that there's more of us left at the end and we become less likely to lynch him.

Phase Eleven

Omnivores, you will need to elect from within your ranks a Leader. This person must be appointed, by way of the 'classic' in-thread running poll, by 12:00pm today. The chosen Leader will need to submit two names to me by PM before 1:00pm. These two names will thusly become your choice for your Phase Eleven kill. (The Leader's vote will be the deciding vote if the Phase Eleven kill 'election' results in a tie.)

As well as being immune from any Cannibal kills that will take place later this Phase, your Leader will obtain an important clue, which they will be trusted to share with the rest of the group.

Finally, the leader will be the person to make the decision for this Phase's question on behalf of the group. The question is as follows:

"Another interesting ancient book has been found in the library. This one is on psychology, with a section on perversions, including cannibalism. Shall we try some of its methods?"

Leader by 12:00pm please, ladies and gents.

Any lynch candidate suggestions from the potential list? It's pretty much names from a hat still

Shall we go for Clue #2? Or switch it up and hit #5 or #3? It's a shot in the dark whichever way really.

Dear omnivore friends,

I will stand for leader today with the intention to nominate Songwriter and Pacman for the lynch.

I have quite a long post with reasons below but essentially, I have been involved with Errkal and the mystery seer for some time. With only two days and four phases left, I think it is important that we reveal all of our collective intelligence. The only thing I have hidden within this is the name of the seer, of course.

I went through lots of posts and PMs so may have made a mistake but I hope not!: :fp:

Anyway, reasons!

Disclaimer: everything that I write here is based on three assumptions. We can question these assumptions later if needed:

1. Based on Karl's words prior to the ritual event, all those that look part in the event are good guys
2. Diabolito and Pancake are good because their respective buddies, Laga and Nun (who took part in the ritual yesterday and are thus good according to the first assumption), have confirmed that they did not receive a PM about their buddy
3. Errkal must be good, surely he has done enough to prove himself at this point

Taking these three things as true, we are currently faced with one of two scenarios:

1. The final cannibal is just a regular cannibal, or;
2. There is a third Alpha

So, if the first of these scenarios is true then the last cannibal must be Songwriter.

Here is a list of the remaining living players and the reasons why they cannot be a regular cannibal (some could still be an Alpha):

However, if the second scenario is true (and I think this is more likely) and we have another Alpha on our hands, then every player who has not proven themself in an event and has been seered as an omnivore is also a suspect. This leaves:

The reason I am nominating Pacman is because he was only seered yesterday, and came back an omnivore, but his buddy mcjihge2 was killed before having a chance to confirm whether Pacman was innocent or not. It either makes Pacman guilty or it's a nice frame job by the remaining cannibal. Either way we should consider clearing that up.

Songwriter is an unlikely final cannibal in my opinion but there you go.

In terms of the question, I say we try some unusual psychological methods, what could go wrong?

Time to see if we can speak to the dead.

Four volunteers are required.

Remember you cannot take part in a phase's event and be this phase's Leader.
