Unfortunately the answer to this question is no. Not even the most powerful telescopes ever made are able to see these objects. The flag on the moon is 125cm (4 feet) long. You would require a telescope around 200 meters in diameter to see it. The largest telescope now is the Keck Telescope in Hawaii at 10meters in diameter. Even the Hubble Space telescope is only 2.4 meters in diameter. Resolving the lunar rover, which is 3.1 meters in length, would require a telescope 75 meters in diameter. So our backyard 6 inch and 8 inch telescopes are not even going to come close!

should have brought a bigger flag with them

or make a bigger telescope. would easily stop these nutters that think it didnt actually happen. in fact i bet theyll use this to reinforce their ideas.

There so many things that have been said about the pro landings that make you question the whole thing. I personally believe they never set a foot on the moon.

What things?

Google it up.

After having accomplished one of the single most important scientific, technological and human endeavours of all time, and after having perilously hurtled out of the earth's atmosphere and through space at incredible speeds before achieving an unprecedented alien landing their first thought probably 'gooseberry fool, I hope those dudes back there, like, believe we were here'.

Sunk by a very early submarine prototype for the non existant Nazi's of the time.

That or time travellers.

The Titanic didn't sink. It was the sister ship (I think called The oceania or something?) that sank. Apparently.

Then again that's a whole other conspiracy theory.

Yeah I heard that one. It was some sort of insurance scam, because the Titanic was worth more they deliberately sunk the other liner to cash in on the insurance payout.

Why would they need to fake the moon landings? Surely it's not a financial reason? I mean, Apollo 11 still went into space, that can't be denied. Surely that's a sizeable chunk of the expense of going to the moon right there.

I had thought the the Moon landing conspiracy theorists would be more widespread, this thread pleases me.

Conspiracy Theories simply exist so nutters like Dblock can pretend the world isn't as dull as it really is.

This is quickly becoming my favourite thread.

On one side, we have physics and common sense. On the other, we have 'I just don't believe in it OK?!"

Christine Fitzgerald, a confidante of Diana, Princess of Wales, claims that Diana told her that the Royal Family were Reptilian aliens, and that they could shapeshift.

David Icke's --BBC reporter-- claims that humanity is actually under the control of dinosauroid-like alien reptiles who must consume human blood to maintain their human appearance.

"Evidence" goes from Sumerian tablets describing the "Anunnaki" (which he translates as "those who from heaven to earth came"), to the serpent in the Biblical Garden of Eden, to child abuse, fluoridation, and the genealogical connections between the Bush family and the House of Windsor.

Icke theorizes that the reptilians came here from the constellation Draco.

same blog wrote:The Nazis had a Moon Base

Esoteric Hitlerists and conspiracy theorists interested in Nazi mysticism and World War II have speculated that the Germans landed on the Moon as early as 1942.

According to other theories it is believed that the Nazis had made contact with 'half a dozen' alien races, including the malevolent Reptilians.

What always makes me laugh about those that beleive the moon landings were faked is they totally discount the Russians and Chinese. Do these people really think that either of these 2 nations wouldn't relish in letting the world know that it was faked? Both nations have had satellites orbiting the moon and would be able to see the signs of the landings.

The IMF and World Bank were set up for the purpose of keeping developing countries reliant on foriegn aid and debt and thereby keeping them useful as a source of labour and maintaining the status quo that benefits developes countries. Actually, that's probably partly true...

That's part of a gravity experiment. They shoot a laser at a mirror placed on the moon to work out the distance to the moon and how it changes over time extremely accurately. The laser is shot on a daily basis and has been ever since the moon landings.

I already said that Peter.

It's probably the only worthwhile result of the lunar missions.
