Eurogamer wrote:Microsoft games profits up by 16 per cent

Microsoft has announced Xbox 360 and PC gaming revenues rose by 16 per cent in the last quarter.

The increase was driven by console sales. In the last three months 1.7 million Xbox 360 units were shipped to shops, compared to 1.3 million during the same period last year. In the first nine months of FY09, 10 million consoles were shipped - up from 7.5 million in the same period in 2008.

Company-wide revenue stood at USD 13.65 billion, down by 6 per cent over the same period in 2008. According to the Associated Press, it's the first revenue drop Microsoft has seen in 23 years of being a publicly traded company.

Completely useless.

Turnover doesn't equal profit.

My cat's more intelligent than Ellie Gibson.

Last night my cat stood just inside his cat flap within sufficient range to unlock the door allowing another cat to come in and piss in my work bag. Do you think Ellie Gibson has the nouse to do that? She'd probably just piss on it herself.

I'm sure we could find more than that.

But let's not even try. I enjoy our current relationship too much to jeopardise it. :wubnohomo:
