So... am I right in thinking the whole rocket launcher suppressor is a PC glitch thing, and not a feature of customisation which I can use on PS4 version of the game? I ask because I have one or two RLs and none of them can use a suppressor.

Pause menu, Records. I always do it in the ACC so not sure if it's available everywhere but I assume so.

As for silenced rocket launchers: I got the heroism for developing all launcher gear and didn't see one. That said I honestly wouldn't put it past Kojima to throw one in because strawberry float it. But for now just a glitch/pc mod/thingy.

THat was a great mission. Think I went in at night, put some C4 on their truck and blew it up. Tranq'd and fulton'd the 3rd. There's a great vantage point on top of a building just outside the gate next to the main building.

Easy way: Sneak onto back of boat and clamber up (there should be a box around the back which gives access to area behind his throne room), peek through gaps in windows/door whatever and when he has his back to you lob a grenade at the banana split tranq him.

So, I'm in. Just bought it. Going to be honest, first impressions weren't great. That intro went on for far too long and was just... mental. Then I got trapped at the end of the first mission: I put Miller in the chopper then went off to explore, not realising I'd be back to the same area for later missions. After about 15 minutes the heli leaves and I'm stuck and have to restart. Lost all the resources I gathered too apparently as they didn't respawn for my retry.

The first time I got to that point, I tranqsniped him through the boat's window while I sat on a neighbouring hill. I sneaked my way over and for some reason decided to kick him to wake him up so I could interrogate him. Obviously it didn't work and I had to fight him alerting every guard in the area. :simper:

Kept him waiting huh? Couldn't you just call another helicopter though?

Oh I sneaked up on him, tranq'd my way to him and tranq'ing the last guard before getting to him cost me the suppressor so he was actually still asleep when I reached him but I tried using a sleep grenade which backfired :fp:

Oh dear, I'm not getting on with this game at all. Just completed the Honey Bee mission and things really haven't picked up from my initial impressions. I seem to spend the majority of my time riding a horse from one location to the next (which looks awful by the by, with glitchy movement animations and the damn thing clipping through every piece of scenery it encounters) then spending half an hour planning and executing an infiltration only for the entire base to end up on alert because I didn't spot one guy half the map away hidden behind a box on the third floor. And the base management stuff, they really couldn't have designed a less user friendly interface if they'd tried.

I'm just... struggling to see where all the praise is aimed at the moment.

Yeah. I'm utterly gutted at the moment as people's impressions were so strong. I mean, I don't even like the way Snake controls. Several times I've had him sneak up to a rock for cover only to have him glitch on top of it, altering everyone in the area. The whole thing feels remarkably unpolished which is amazing considering how slick Ground Zeroes was. I loved GZ too, my multiple playthroughs of that was the main reason I went for this.

You glitched on top of a wall without a button press? Over 100 hours of gameplay and I haven't broken cover unless I wanted to.

Failing to spot someone sucks but it's your fault for assuming you found everyone. Also once you unlock D-Dog that particular issue will no longer be one.
