Good old Amazon - Wii U version has popped through my letterbox this morning with free delivery!

What console to get this game on...

I guess for me and my partner it comes down to the controllers. Using two PS3 pads is a treat, but what's the option on Wii U? One on the Gamepad and one on a pro controller? Do Wiimotes work?

The info page in the eShop indicates that controller options include Gamepad, ProController, Wii Remote, Wii Remote Plus, Nunchuk and Wii Controller Pro. It seems like all bases are covered!

Wow, it's not often that Amazon deliver a new release two days early. Maybe ShopTo now has a rival for punctual delivery.

I suppose it makes sense that all control methods work when it's really just a case of running, jumping and attacking like Mario.

Vita version has been delayed at the last minute. Now not out until the 13th September. Nice and close to GTA 5.

I've pre-purchased this for PC on Greenman Gaming. Got my key. Anyone know what time games activate on Uplay? Can I download/play from 6pm tonight like you can with Steam games?

Zavvi still haven't dispatched mine yet. This will probably be the last time I use them for preorders. This is the third time this has happened since July. Kinda annoying.

That said, I don't really care about getting it on Friday as I'm out. I will be pissed if it isn't here for Saturday.

I had the fastest time in UK for the daily challenge... for about 20 mins. Still though 8-). I want to try and get it down to 20 seconds. It's a good laugh to play though, looks really nice.

I've had this game pre-ordered with them since January!

They bombarded me with repeated emails once the original street date had been and gone, apologising and assuring me it'd be sent out soon.

And here I am, 7 months later, and they haven't even dispatched yet. I just cancelled my order there and ordered from Amazon. 1st Class Delivery is free on it, so will have it by Saturday I reckon. Plus, it's cheaper.

This is absolutely bloody fantastic so far. I didn't play too much of Origins, but thought it was pretty good from what I played and obviously gorgeous. This however is amazing from the start, and just keeps getting better. I just finished the first world, and, well. :wub:

Even at this stage it's perfectly balanced between being forgiving and challenging too, with some stuff being just tricky enough to get without being at all frustrating.

And then there's the music! It's some of the best music I've heard in a game for some time, and it's right up there with the Mario and Zelda games at the moment. Majestic stuff.
