I can see it selling most on the Wii U because Wii U owners want an excuse to play on it.

Picked up the PC version of this for £18.50 odd for the PC via Greenman Gaming and a discount code. strawberry float me! This looks excellent and more importantly plays excellently too. I'm enjoying this far more than I did Origins. I'll look forward to playing this some more over the coming days.

Running a Rayman booth today in Victoria Station, nice to see they're promoting it!

After playing the 360 version most of the day, the Murfy with B button kind of sucks. Some times he doesn't fly where you want him to be so you can't activate platforms in time, the worst thing is every time he is needed for the first time in a level, you have to watch a little cutscene with no skip option, really breaks flow.

Had some amazing Kung Foot games today.

I'm here until 11pm if anyone wants to stop by for a game or two.

Is anyone having fun controlling Murphy with the Wii U Gamepad screen? Or is it fiddly compared to the PS3's one-button alternative?

It's fantastic fun with the Wii U gamepad.

Is there an option for the single-button method with the Wii U, so that two people can play a proper co-op mode?

Personally I've been finding the Murphy stuff more fiddly, especially when two moveable things are close to each other. Sometimes Murfy will over over the wrong one sometimes, you have to have all players near the one you want to move. It can be more frustrating.

Sucks that you can't have Murfy controlled by pad on the Wii U though.

Sucks that you can't use the 'plays itself' workaround they had to come up with to get a mechanic designed around touch control to work on controllers without a touch input on a controller with a touch input?

Really interested in this. Just have two questions.

Does it only have local multiplayer? Don't really know anyone in the vicinity that would be interested in such a game.

Is the UPlay thing a requirement on PC?

I finally played it yesterday with the gf and there is some serious  for the game...

I can imagine Kung Foot being extremely mental with several players...

Some of the Invaded levels are incredibly frustrating, but it is very satisfying when you complete one.

Rather than try to be smart and reword my post, why not write a post that's easier to read? I have no idea what you're on about.

To my understanding, single player Murfy levels on the Wii U has the player assisting a Rayman controlled by AI.

You assist by using the touch screen.

When they came to port this stuff to other platforms without a touch screen, they had to stick it all on a single button, Murphy moves by himself and you press a button to get him to interact where ever he is on screen. This is the mechanic that basically plays itself, asking for no more than a simple button press to continue, it basically makes the whole design of those levels invalid.

That's the workaround they went with. You seem to be asking for that when you can actually play it as it was designed on the touch screen.

Yeah, I'd like to have the option to both on the Wii U. For example, in a solo session I would want to use the controller and not do the assist levels but in a multiplayer session (co-op) I might want to play using two controlled characters and the Murfy stuff mapped to B like it is on the Xbox.

As you have pointed out though, I guess it does invalidate their whole Wii design if we can avoid it as most people would by default. Fair play.

GFK chart track results are out and this is still doing quite well. 360 > Wii U > PS3.

Vita hasn't charted at all, not surprisingly as they well and truly fudged it's release, first by a last minute delay of two weeks and then bringing it out a week earlier than they said, so basically no one knew if it was out or not.

Finally got my copy, beat the first world. It looks very pretty and plays as well as expected.
