With so many awesome games out next month I cannot believe everyone is going to buy and play all of them, so which games that you normally would have got are not going to be purchased on release day?

For me, there will be quite a few games I would like to purchase, but considering the amount of time, I won't get to enjoy them fully, so I will wait.

My current list of casualties are:

Bioshock (PS3)
Fallout 3
Saints Row 2 (might get it at the last minute)

So what games will you guys sacrifice to enjoy the games you will buy?

Dead Space - I think I'll really like it but it just can't compete with Fallout 3 and LBP. One for later in the year.

I've also pre-ordered and cancelled 3 Bioshock orders as I really want it but when would I play it.

Basically, whatever I'm not sent for review. Apart from Fable 2. I'll be getting that regardless.

Dead Space, Fallout 3, Red Alert 3 and Far Cry 3. I'm just getting FIFA, Fable II and Little Big Planet, and trying to remain strong.

I've passed on Infinite Undiscovery and Brothers In Arms so far and cancelled Saints Row 2.

Dead Space will depend on reviews now.

I'm only buying FIFA 09 next month, and the next game I buy after that is Gears of Wars 2, which isn't out until November.

It would be good to be able to afford another game next month, such as Fable II or Little Big Planet (with a PS3 to play it on), but I've still got The Darkness to complete, and also a few XBLA games so it's not as if I'll have nothing to play apart from FIFA.

I'm pleasantly surprised to see you're all keeping faith with Disaster.

That's why no-one's mentioned it yet, right? :D

Right? :(

Pfft, I've got far too many games to worry about buying full price ones. Everything can wait until after christmas, apart from Rock Band 2 and Gears 2.

I'm selling my Rock Band now. If I get RB2 it'll be the solus version and I'll be using the World Tour drums of AWESOME.

I have decided to get just Fable II and Little Big Planet in October so all the other games I'd like Far Cry 2, Lego Batman, FIFA and Fallout 3 will be Christmas presents or January purchases.

I'm no longer buying Lego Batman & Web of Shadows is going to be bought based on reviews.

Everything I've pre-ordered will be bought. (I haven't really pre-ordered that much, Saint's Row 2, Dead Space, Far Cry 2 & Fallout 3)

I'm be more worried about my November's casualties.

I was hoping to buy the following in November...

Tomb Raider Underworld, Left 4 Dead, Nuts & Bolts, Mirror's Edge, MK vs DC, Command & Conquer: RA3, CoD: WaW, Naruto: The Broken Bond

Unfortunately...Underworld, Red Alert 3 & MK vs DC are probably going to my November casualties.

:(

Just Disaster really.

I suppose I might have been interested in Fifa, Lego Batman and Midnight Club LA in another time, but really none of them are particularly interesting to me anyway.

One of the perks of living with a few other gamers is that between us most of the decent games that come out get bought but even then there will be potentially interesting stuff getting ignored this winter.

Sim City Creator
Exit DS
Blastworks
Quantam of Solace
Castlevania:Order of Ecclescake
Dementium:The Ward
