so I thought it was time to share some hard facts about what I've achieved to date. There's nothing in here that'll blow anyone's minds, but try to bear in mind that I've been doing everything for the company part-time in the evenings, so it's not a full-time job (yet).
Also bear in mind all I pay for 'advertising' each month is the £35 to here for the Banner at the top of the forum.
App Guide Sales (All-Time):
Splinter Cell Conviction - Launched April 2010: 847 Units sold - 2 Refunded
God of War 3 - Launched March 2010: 713 Units Sold - 1 Refunded
Angry Birds Halloween - Launched November 2010: 636 Units Sold - 1 Refunded
Total Revenue Generated from above apps: £1,705
Number of copyright takedown requests from publishers: 2
Number of Takedowns: 1 (Modern Warfare 2 Guide)
Number of copyright takedown requests rebutted successfully: 1 (Angry Birds guide)
Total revenue as a company, including other areas of guide work (calculated so far): £8,750
So nothing eye-opening above, but for a first year trading as a company (part-time), I'm quite pleased with the results so far. This year I'm moving onto e-book self-publishing via Amazon, and I've got no shortage of work lined up for that alone. Combined with GamerGuides.com and my magazine work, it's safe to say 2011 is going to be a much more productive year. I've got - nearly - all the equipment I need now (RAID HD-recording set-up, 2 debug consoles, 2 retail units, decent PC, HD Capture card, iPhone, Kindle and Android mobile), so pretty much all revenue this year should be profit.

I'd like to personally thank each and every one of you for your kind support and honest feedback, it's been genuinely appreciated.
And if all goes according to plan, I'll be doing guide work on a Full-Time basis in the not too-distant future.
