As some of you know, my real life job is working as a recruiter, so being Head of the Cult seemed perfect.
My attempted recruits in order were False (success), Hype (success), Drum (being patrolled), Iron (rejected).
I went to False first because he had mentioned he was going on holiday, and I spun it as providing someone to cover his back in the thread. Also, he shot someone in the thread on a task, and I based my recruitment messages around 'causing chaos' rather than working for the parasites.
I never disclosed our win conditions prior to someone accepting entrance into the Cult and I wrote a tailored message that was different each time, prior to Ariel's formal recruitment yes/no PM.
Our goal with the Cult was not to continue recruiting indefinitely - the optimal number would have been 5-6 members + contact with the parasites. This would have allowed us to sway essentially all votes.
When Falsey disclosed on Day 3 that he was in direct contact with the parasites, I figured he could be a parasite for the first time, but not that he could be the Alpha
Iron's rejection in combination with Hypes punishment resulting in Ariel's proposal to me about the ritual, which I really needed to accept in order to remain in the game.
From there, I tried to catch up quickly on the parasite gameplan, and essentially followed orders which made the end-game run very smoothly for us!
