Yes. I misread my role PM. I thought if a Mafia or Wolf were released from jail without being killed, I'd be killed, and I therefore thought my continued existence exonerated you. However, my role PM advises that it is a "neutral" role that would kill me upon exiting the jail.
Your vote yesterday, and the fact there was no Mafia kill last night - and your protestations throughout today, insisting upon the existence of a mechanic that doesn't exist that I do accept I introduced makes me think you're our most likely Mafia candidate.

Based on everything else I'm more inclined to believe Shinichi than Dick. It's almost certain there's a duplication of role "type" in play somewhere, but two Town Killing seems more believable than three Town Support IMO. Right now I'm leaning towards Hercule being the remaining Mafia and Dick being a third party, with at least one of Nancy, Jane or Jessica also a third party.

IF he is a Mafian, assuming there are only 2 of them which seems about right, he knows there will be no Mafia kill. I would happily put a real money bet on this. Seriously, how does £1K sound?

You think with me claiming to be lookout (because I am) and there being NO OTHER town investigative role in play so far at least, then maybe, just maybe I'm telling the truth? unless the CI is not giving us investigative roles, I doubt it

My concern here is that it is likely there is only one town investigative role due to the small number of players.

This would lead me to conclude that as a player with a town investigative role myself (yes, that's right, i am THE INVESTIGATOR! Might as well put that out there as i'll likely be bumped off regardless if deemed a threat), that Poirot may well be lying.

Last night i investigated Jacques Clouseau, and the result tallied with what he was saying about his role, which was why i confirmed him to be legit.

Switching vote to Poirot today, and will investigate Dick tonight (assuming i make it until morning).

Looking at this, there is no way there would be 7 green town roles within this game when there are so few players. I suspect there are at least a couple of neutrals along with the mafia ones, so some of the green claim players are likely liars.

The role claim numbers do seem high I would agree, but it's hard to know for sure. I've been looking back over the last game the Chief ran and I think this was the final set of roles/players (the OP hasn't been updated so I had to look through the pages to fill in some of the blanks - guess the Chief was napping back then as well, no wonder the town keeps getting strawberry floated over! )

So this gives us some context to work with, although of course the Chief could certainly have mixed up the ratios this time around. I'd still say we'll be looking at a couple of neutral/chaos players in the mix at least as he seems keen to expand the forum's experience of these kinds of things

My best guess, is that there's probably 5 green town roles, a couple of neutrals, and a couple of mafias.

This assumption does make Poirot and Dick look extremely iffy.

Magnum, am I correct in presuming you have no available night actions as Mayor?
