Alt cheese method for those hunters: lure the one on the steps (the rest should follow) and peg it into the cells down below (helps if one of the cell doors is opened beforehand), shut cell door quickly and cheese them through the bars  I figured that one out by myself 8-) after I couldn't get the lamp/doorway one to work. (they can still reach you in the cell with certain attacks, but hit and run 'em and you should be fine.)

I'll put my videos of the hunter fights up tomorrow, if only for the visible panic as they come in the the room with nearly full health and go to town on me.

Now they're gone, does the broken/missing lamp become active again, as it did with the one by father wassisface when the hunter was hiding there? Would be handy just to skip that first little bit.

If you run back to the lamp, only one follows to, easy to take them out that way.

I don't think it does, nope.

I dunno if I have the patience for this game anymore. At the Cainhurst Castle boss and again strawberry floating stuck. Cant even use the bells because the system is broken as gooseberry fool.

Just go somewhere else, I can't beat him yet so I'm doing other things. Fwiw that's the only place in the entire game where I've not had a bell ring answered.

I just beaten that boss. I've fought him loads of times over the last few days, and the last fight wasn't going to well either. Then I realised just how low his health had dropped and went for it.

Oh my god that felt good! :D I've spoilered the video below.

Beat Rom on my forth go.
Dunno if this was a lunacy tactic, but I didn't kill a single spider (I think). I just rolled like strawberry float and ran in between them to register a couple of hits, then legged it out again. Repeat.
By the time he had a quarter health there were strawberry floating loads of the things!
I saved my video clip, which I might put on later

That was great :D Something I learned from the video: Logy has a molotov repelling force field  That or the messengers sold you rubber molotovs.

I thought you were doing well mostly; you were approaching low health a few times but recovered well and then *BAM* zero vials! Amazing turnaround from that situation, though.
IMO you were doing best when you were attacking him with the 2H, when you started trying to counter him is what lead you to trouble. 2H supremacy! ;>

It took me three attempts before I realised the molotovs were just bouncing off. :fp:

The greatsword mode worked a treat for the first stage, but I found it didn't have the speed I needed after that. But yeah, I was amazed that I managed to beat him after that. I'm really glad I wasn't recording my voice. :shifty:

Beat Martyr Logarius and the Celestial Emissary tonight. Tried Ebrietas and got smashed to bits.

Attack its rear, keep circling (easier to do if you unlock targetting for that), dodge lasers (easy), watch out for side swipes later and lure her back out to middle if she ends up pressed against a wall. When at a distance she will spew frenzy infecting blood but, like the lasers, it's easy to dodge.

Damage reduction runes/gear helps too. Oh and, watch out for the ground pounding head-butts.

Luke_25 wrote:Had 2 co-operators in Old yarnham, helped me beat the two hunters, one was a patient bastard as he stood there waiting for me to explore the area before we faced the Blood Starved Beast. Barely took a hit in that fight thanks to those two, was quite funny as we all just stood there waving goodbye as they died from poisoning. Also chased an invader half way across the map as he desperately tried to get beasts to make up his disadvantage (only two of us at this point), shooting him in the back as he went  Great fun.

Also how important is the item you get from the hunter on the roof because we knocked him off and the item is sitting there hover in mid air :dread:

This happened to me last night too. I was getting my arse handed to me by him and was on the verge of dying until he dodged backwards from a strike and fell off the roof. His drop was hovering about 20 feet in the air.
Suppoedly, if you go back to the Hunters Dream and then return to the gun, the drop will be there.

I've reached old yarnham and keep getting killed by the machine gun guy. I have the path memorised up to the point of an open courtyard where I can't see the way to go or lure the enemies to me to kill them in the building. Any tips?

That's how I killed him too. About 10 attempts.

Spider mercy supremacy.

It's just the laser attack that keeps getting me, and it's another boss fight where the camera is the biggest threat
