I don't understand how anyone could think Walt's phone call to Skyler was anything other than him getting her out of trouble by taking the blame for everything knowing the police were monitoring the call.

The one on the right is the foreshadowing, not the one from this ep.

That implies they filmed Gus on the ground with the latter shot in mind. It's a callback because the latter one was inspired by the former.
