Felt the need to create a finished and fully colour illustration, though it is kind of rough and... unfinished:

Just started drawing and painting again after quite a lengthy break. Bit out of practice, but am working on it.

Any advice on in-expensive art packages and equipment I can use for the PC?

i'm taking that as a compliment and a nicely worded comment to add to my collection.

As far as my appreciation goes for all things hentai the pose and form is very good although I'm not so sure about the eye placement, but I understand cartoon/manga facial dimensions can sometimes be even harder than realistic ones.

It is difficult. The hardest part though is finding the time to get the practice in between working full time and looking after my kids. Still, it only for fun so no rush

So, I'm trying to get to grips with Illustrator, been playing about with it here and there but thought I would give it a bigger push. Here is what I have come up with so far

Eventually want to do the whole lot of this picture

Looking for feedback really, what do you lot think? Illustrator crowd, anything I could add or maybe missed?

Looks really good. How easy is it to get to grips with Illustrator?

Thanks man, the hardest part for me to get my head around is that it isn't Photoshop. Once you start to get the grips with the various tools and rules, it comes quite quickly

I recommend going to VectorTuts+ and trying a couple of tutorials so you know what everything does. I'm still learning shading but that is another subject entirely. It's amazing with a little bit of extra detail how much it makes the pictures pop

That's what I'll struggle with. I've always been told that Illustrator is best for vector work but I don't understand why, isn't it the pen tool that's used?
