I do fear that some folk will buy the game thinking it's a new Zelda adventure when, as you say, it's Dynasty Warriors. I like Warriors games but, historically, it seems that not too many people are into them.

It feels incredible that this is Nintendo's main new game for the Christmas period :o . I suspect this is why the BoTW aspects of the game are being pushed so much.

Finished the Champions Ballad DLC this morning. I love the final cut scene.

I think I’m going to really enjoy this, just to see the BOTW characters more.

Dynasty/Samurai Warriors-like game

They tend to have a high variance in review scores. Fans love them but the uninitiated often fail to find the appeal. A bit like hunting action (monster hunter like) games.

Does anywhere reliably get games out early anymore or has that all been shut down by publishers?

Seemed like a few years ago it was a case of which of a handful of sites would get a game to you by midweek. The past couple of years though even release date delivery seems touch and go across the board.

I rarely get Nintendo-published games early from anywhere these days. ShopTo have always been fine for everything else though.

Really? Even my friend who is a Day 1 PS5er conceded that the PS5 hasn't launched with anything worth playing.

He bought one and it's sitting in his house, unopened.

I didn't copy the data from the demo across, so I've just replayed the stuff that the demo allowed you to access. From here on in, it's all new to me.

Got my copy but I think my girlfriend will be playing it this weekend leaving me to play ACNH/Hades/Valhalla. I should finish Hades at least so it won't be vying for time with Age of Calamity once I get into it!

No idea what to do with the notepad/postcards/poster that came with it :lol:
