Decided to do a bit of real time world tour. Always going to use real time and weather, always going to take off from where I landed, and no mid-flight saving. It's a bit of a pain right now as by the time I'm done with work and fired it up, there's not much light left, but once I can get across to the US, should be able to do some longer flights.
Started off friday evening by going from Swansea to St Davids, and then down to Land's End, with a cracking sunset to finish it off. Weather was not as great when I resumed by flying across the south coast to Brighton, and then up to Southend, and then onto Liverpool (had a dodgy moment when coming in to land and a much bigger plane came in above me
). I hopped on at lunch time to fly to Carlisle, and tried to have a quick look at Snowdon before I went, but the weather has been awful today. Snowdonia (and the Lake District) were both terrifying! A little disappointed in how the game can't seem to do piers yet either. Was looking forward to seeing the one at Southend and Blackpool. Also, Blackpool Tower just isn't there. It's not even a weird thing drawn on the ground, so not sure what's happened.
I'm planning to go Scotland > Faroe Islands > Iceland > Greenland > Newfoundland > US, but I'm finding some airports/fields/strips hard to find. Nothing shows up when I zoom the map over the Faroes or Greenland. I googled airfields in each, and some of the Greenland ones show up when searching, but no luck getting Vagar to show up in the Faroes doing this.
