8/10 from C&VG, despite spending most of the review criticising the game, and then stating "Resi 6 delivers plenty of bang for your buck, and co-op makes everything better. But is it worth a more discerning dollar? Let's put it this way: we wouldn't buy it full price."

Oooh...ouch!

I know I'll still be getting this, though. :lol:

Demo was good, but I am not impressed with the direction they are going. Feels more like a spin off rather than a 'traditional' Resi title. Then again do we want to go back to the original roots with awkward cam? Perhaps it needs to be made into a First Person title?

Resident Evil will never be as good again without Shinji Mikami. The rest of the team clearly haven't a clue.

Still looking forward to it despite the very mixed reaction from the critics.

Despite hating the demo, I'm genuinely loving Leon's part of the game so far. Giving it below 7 is just stupid from what I've played, it may not be Resi Evil as it used to be, but it's still a damn good game.

Did you not play 4 or 5? And to complain it doesn't feel like a traditional Resi game and suggest it needs to become a first person game is ridiculous.

I love Jim. He's honest, funny and respects other people's opinions.

He gave Assassin's Creed 2 a 3 if I remember correctly. I don't agree with him but I still respect his view.

Might pick this up after a few price cuts, the reviews have put me off getting it on release. Should still be a fun enough game.

Yeah, I'll get it when it's about £15 or so, so after Christmas I guess. Speaking of Capcom games; Dragon's Dogma is still £30! What gives, it's been out ages.....?
