I’ve only ever done the civil war quest once, I actually prefer having a mix of Empire and Stormcloaks rather than one or the other.

One of my most memorable playthroughs/characters was when I sided with the Empire and concentrated exclusively on the civil war quests. The war was over within an in-game week

The civil war really shows up the "essential" character thing in the game, it's incredibly frustrating to come across an enemy camp and to murder them all except the captain who inexplicably cannot die. Cue me looting all the bodies and tents while occasionally stopping to put the captain back on their knees.

Yeah it’s annoying when you try to kill Nazeem but he keeps getting back up  I know that’s not the essential character you’re referring to but easily one of the most annoying!

The Civil War quest has been my favourite so far. I've liked storming castles with with lots of fighting going on.

Being able to summon a zombie dragon is awesome as well.

So the Imperial Dragonborn, who joined the Legion and defeated the Stormcloak rebellion has now assassinated the Emperor.

I've had this since original release and I've still not touched any of the civil war stuff. One day!

I would have said it was the best storyline until I did the Dark Brotherhood stuff.

Out of the "big" questlines I think I've only ever really done the Thieves stuff, the magic guild and the actual "main story" - and I only finally did that one a couple of years ago!

I swear most of my 200-odd hours in this must have just been spent pissing about in random caves!

I can never bring myself to side with the Stormcloaks even just to see how the plot plays out.

Following the Thieves Guild questline potentially leads to a ridiculous perk that spawns more gemstones and jewellery in every chest you open. It quickly leads to you having more valuable loot than you can possibly sell and more money than you can ever reasonably spend.

Is there a summary of the new content somewhere?

I have the existing Skyrim on Switch but I can't see a price for just upgrading, and yeah a summary of what the actual content is would be good.
Might be worth £5-10 to upgrade if there's some decent content.

Oh no

I thought some of the extra content was decent, think it includes some new weapons, items, change in the design of armour, some (or at least one) new house to buy near Whiterun, some new quests. Obviously not a conclusive list of the extra content but you get the gist

Is this the same upgrade that other platforms got a while back?
