If Europe win again, do you think the USA general public will feign interest?

All Americans think they are Irish anyway, so they will be supporting Europe. Right?

Should be good. Would have preferred Clarke to Poulter but hey ho. Think we'll beat them again

I predict a Europe win by 4 points.

Monty should be there. He is the Ryder Cup.

Either way europe will win.

Monty should be there, absolutely. And I would have liked Clarke as well. Poulter is good, but his temperament is a bit suspect at times. Saw him at the Loch Lomond Scottish Open this year and he wasn't having a good time at all (though to be fair, whoever we followed that day seemed to be cursed!). Maybe the team play will help him with that side of it.

I think when it comes to wildcards I would have gone for the players that are more likely to boost morale and team spirit, which would definitely be Clarke and Montgomery.

I don't have sky sports anymore so will only be seeing highlights unfortunately.

What kind of name is Boo Weekley for Christs sake?

Anyway, I'm looking forward to it. We got quite a strong squad there. Why isn't Monty playing, same goes for Tiger?

Monty didn't qualify, and wasn't picked by Faldo as a wildcard. Tiger is injured... not that they'll miss him, if you believe the stories about how he is bad for team morale etc that were flying about the last couple of ryder cups.

The last Ryder cup was about 5 miles from my college. All the road works made my commute about half an hour longer for a few months. banana splits.

And that's why i won't be watchin this year.

I thought it was great having it here. :|

All the lads went up on the Thursday morning and loved it. But then I guess you bare the local side-effects.

Burn.

Also, how would you go about going UP to Kildare from Galway.

Down, surely?

I never mentioned that my commute was once a week since i was living in college, just had to head home for weekend work. ;) Just fancied a little bitch, i actually thought it was pretty cool driving past all the security in Straffan and knowing what i was watching on tv was only a few mins down the road.

I've had many arguments about where I say up and down for. I have no logic for it really.

Altitude? Should be the deciding factor but I don't know where I stand.

The map? Then I should say over.

Standards? Well, everywhere else is down in that department. ;)

Come to think of it, when I'm referring to Cork City it's always up, even though I live far, far north of it.

Dunno why.
