I've had a new neighbour move in across from me, and it looks like they'll be just as quiet as the one I had before, which is great!

As for the flat below me, no idea what's going on. I don't think it belongs to the council as his old net curtains are still up down there. His son doesn't come to do things to it very often now either.

For now I'm hoping it stays as quiet in here as it always seemingly has been, with the exception of the lady upstairs shouting at her husband on the odd occasion.

Stool Bloke's departure has made a huge difference overall, and surprisingly, it appears that Degenerate Neighbour Bloke has quietly moved out too.

His mum is still next door, but he himself seems to have gone, and thus, while bonfire wanker and karen the karen are still hanging around like a bad smell, things have generally become a little more peaceful this year.

Oh and seeing the drunken skank's (the one with that terrible laugh at the 2020 carbecue VE Day piss up) husband at no.3 get hauled off by 4 burly policemen and put in the back of a cop car was hugely satisfying last week too (he's not shown up again since either, so he may have ended up in the big house).

I'm glad that it has gone well and things are quiet, Tsunade!

Back in May, jawa_ wrote:...It's been quiet again for a while... so I've just (silently) stacked up a couple of chairs on the floor behind my front door... some sort of additional block. Safe to say that I don't think I'm gonna get much sleep these next few nights.

For the first time in three months, last night I slept without those chairs being stacked up behind my front door. It felt good.

Les Misérables

They are ok really, He is definitely French, I think his wife is Eastern European (she seems really nice and friendly) but can’t place her accent but she does speak French to his parents who were helping them move in and they have two children and a dog called Lady

Well she goes somewhere because three times I have had to tell them that she has got out and ran past me down the road while I was gardening

WTF?!

Do these houses not have fences, or the owners the common sense to keep the doors closed?

Yes and No

Its a fully enclosed fenced garden so I don't know how she gets out but its very annoying the fact I seem more concerned than they do, she's a small English Cocker Spaniel so she could easily be not seen by a car coming around the corner, the first time the little girl answered the door and I was having to describe the dog I had just seen even though I kept saying it was defiantly your dog

Neighbours below me were watching tv loud and I could hear some of it annoyingly in my bedroom. Why can't they watch tv in the living room or turn it down?
So I picked up my bang and olufsen portable speaker placed it on the floor and blasted some Billie Eilish music. Their TV noise disappeared And I didn't hear it after I turned my speaker off. Fingers crossed they got the message. Haha I know it might have been a bit childish of me but atleast they know if they can hear me then I can hear them! End off.

Pretty common to have TVs in the bedroom is it not?

SO SO SO glad I'm detached now, my old neighbours were arseholes.

I guess so but they shouldn't have it loud.

Yes I looked into it and would if I wasn't selling already. It's a very effective solution apparently.

You live in a flat, could hear "some" of your neighbour's TV and then passive aggressively blasted music (did we need to know the brand of speaker) at them?

And all of this after you (probably breaking your lease) had an extra ceiling installed because the neighbour upstairs dared to open a wardrobe.

You know it's you, not them, right?
