Beautiful day. I'm home this afternoon 8-) .

And my neighbours have spent two hours shouting and screaming at each other, yelling down the stairways and from outside the building, calling each other everything under the (literal) sun.

I've had a day of non stop power tools from various locations around the cul de sac today.

When one mower stops, a hedge trimmer begins, then when that finishes, a strimmer starts up etc...

But they're retired so they can only do things on a weekend!

Wait.

Speaking of retired people, having being driving around during the non commuting times this week, Holy strawberry floating gooseberry fool are retired old drivers annoying. Plodding around in their spanking new boxy cars made by a company you've never heard of, barely moving, Crawling well under and speed limit. Just strawberry float off.

Old people are the worst. Also had an old person irritate me at baby swimming today but I can't be bothered to go on about her again. Already moaned about it afterwards to my wife. :slol:

Just need one more OAP annoyance now for a Saturday Hat Trick :toot:

The boy racer has turned his front drive into what i can only describe as a breakers yard, his original old banger with the modified exhaust now has only two wheels, while his crappy green replacement (which has a 1996 numberplate) also with a modified exhaust so it sounds like a never ending fart, is sat alongside.

Right now, he has the engine of the red one running for some reason, it's just sat there up on two wheels pumping out filth while he wanders around cleaning the green one with a pressure washer.

The guy is literally a cartoon character nowadays, he's so cliched it beggars belief.

Got new downstairs neighbours after the tumble dryer family moved out about 8 weeks ago. The peace has been amazing.

Hoping for the best with the new folk, but who knows?

Lovely and cool today compared to yesterday, so all the windows are open to help cool the house down.

Neighbour 3 doors down is burning DIY waste in a drum in his garden at 8.30am. :x

Your street is literally like a street from a cartoon. Are you sure these people actually exist?

Y'know, i'm not sure there is a single evening during the summer months now where there isn't the smell of bonfire smoke in the air around here.

Good news is it's still spring and not summer, bad news is it means the bonfire banana splits are at it even in spring now.

They almost certainly do it in winter too, the difference then though is that my windows are closed.
