@ Jazzem.
Console gaming- There's no mention of Shining Force in your post.
Also, no Paper Mario- shame on you.
What's Shining Force you ask?
Dante- How about a new start for a new forum?
k_F- Yep, it's definitely worth getting some stuff.
(Kill two birds with one stone here- Jazzem- something like this:
Final's Fantastic FiveYou need these games. You just do.
1- Shining Force - Mega Drive- 800 points
A phenomenal strategy RPG. Essential.
If you can find it, there's a remake of it on the GBA.
You'll definitely love it if you like anything Like Fire Emblem or Advance Wars,
Glowing review, natch.(pic from the GBA version)
2-
Super Mario World SNES- 800 points
In my opinion, the best game ever made.
It's an incredible platformer, and holds up superbly even to this day. It's only in second as I had already played it on the SNES
Review3-
Paper Mario N64- 1000 points
A truly stunning game (that consolegaming has oddly ignored) that I never had the chance to play back in the day, but it doesn't matter as it holds up well. I probably prefer TTYD, but it's still fantastic, and one of the best 1000 points that you could spend.
5* review(GC version, but they're basically the same)
4-
Adventures of Lolo- NES- 500 points
An incredible surprise, I had never heard of this before I was sent it, and it has turned into one of my favourite games on the system.
4* review5-
Zelda: A Link to the Past SNES- 800 points
Admittedly, this game also has huge amounts of nostalgia on it's side, but it really is a magical game. A huge step up in the Zelda franchise, spawning some of the greatest games ever made.

Shining Force 2 - Mega Drive
After really, really enjoying Shining Force, I can't wait for this. It's apparently better than the original, too, so it's sure to be sensationsal. :jump:
2- Super Mario RPG- SNES
I thought that both Mario and Luigi games were stunning, so this should be incredible.
3- Chrono Trigger- SNES
An RPG with huge numbers of fans worldwide, sounds great, so I can't wait to give this a go.
Probably won't be released now, as there is an DS remake inbound.
4- Sunset Riders- SNES/ Mega Drive
A brilliant wild west themed 2D side scrolling shooter. It's got great co-op too, and this was played for aaages back in the day.
5- Majora's Mask- N64
An excellent addition to the Zelda franchise, and there are many that say that it's THE best Zelda.
