That was always my problem. I loved the fruit salad but not the black jacks, and you could never buy them separately.

I do like QI, but I don't know that reference. I bought some as a joke for my work colleagues when I visited Stockholm. They were rank.

I remember when I'd get a bag of sweets, there were these mice made of the most rank "chocolate" in the world. I see massimo already posted a picture of them on the first page. All other penny sweets are, of course, a fine delicacy.

I've had these. A Finnish nurse was on sabbatical with our team back before the UK took a collective turn for the daft, and brought us a bag of those unmitigated hell drops along with a stunning mint liqueur. On her leaving card I tried to write a witty message about keeping the booze but she could take the sweets back but for some unfathomable reason I ended up using the phrase "back where you came from" and because it was on a group card you couldn't cross it out or start again. I was genuinely terrified I'd cause a huge amount of offence to a really lovely woman.

So yeah, strawberry float salt liquorice.

I like Fruit Gums but they always leave a sensation like they're clogging up in my esophagus. End up banging on my chest to force them down.

Liquorice is foul. Turkish delight is lovely.
