They seem to have learned nothing and I genuinely think Series X will be a distant third place in the next console war.
If only they could have gotten some JRPGs like PSO or Dragon Quest...
Yes, we're all dying to play DQXI three years later.
Remember when Mass Effect was an Xbox exclusive? Or KOTOR? Those were amazing times.
Ah yes, those famous non-Western games made in the non-Western country of *checks notes* The United States of America
I said 'at this point'. The games mentioned aren't console exclusive, hence my assertion that it's a console for people who only want Western games. There will be Western exclusives. There will not be Japanese console exclusives.
Did you understand that now?
So am I understanding this correctly? You complain at the lack of Japanese exclusives, then as an example you give two Western Xbox 360 launch exclusives, then when I point out that those are western, you double down that you meant Japanese?
Have you suffered a concussion recently?
Sigh. There are two points in the original post.
The first is that since Xbox has never sold in Japan, there are now no Japanese exclusives or attempts at making any (after failures of Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey). So if you want a Japanese exclusive title, you would be better off getting PS5.
The second point (keep up) is that there are no exciting new AAA titles (much like Mass Effect or KOTOR was back in the day) and that MS is relying on the same franchises as 10 years ago.
