You may remember I had to get my Xbox replaced by Microsoft due to its (I reckon) hard drive going bonkers.
The process was relatively short I suppose and the new Xbox arrived just a couple of days later, and it's a simple job of putting the broken one in the packaging that the new one arrives in, putting the included address label on the box and sending it back (via UPS).
All good.... Except my new Xbox is a bit noisy
It's hardly ear-punishing, but the old one was silent, and the replacement very much isn't (although does have the advantage of actually working, in it's defence).
It's hard to describe the noise it makes, but this might do it; the first game I played on the new one was Assassin's Creed Odyssey - and I thought 'blimey, I reckon they've overdone it with the environmental cricket noises'.
It's a really high pitched, oscillating whine.
Should I keep this and get used to it (or ignore it - I generally play with high volume or headphones), or should I go for another replacement?
I called off his players' names as they came marching up the steps behind him....All nice guys. They'll finish last. Nice guys. Finish last.
